Hello! I go by Shawana, and I am the founder of A Touch Of Scent – a small business that specializes in crafting beautifully scented candles. It all started as a hobby when I began making homemade candles in my kitchen. My goal was to create healthy, high-quality, and eco-friendly candles. Initially, I used Paraffin wax, but soon realized that it left black soot on my walls and air conditioning vents and felt toxic to breathe in. So, I started researching natural Soy Wax which is a cleaner and longer-lasting alternative. I also use eco-friendly cotton wicks to create safe candles. I have spent countless hours testing my products to ensure great quality and safety. Soy Wax also makes for a much easier clean-up process – just hot soapy water and a good rub will do the job.
